Vol 2 Issue I imageWNY PRISM has released our 2016 Spring/Summer Newsletter. In this issue, we have articles on the new partnership between WNY PRISM and NYS DEC’s Giant Hogweed Program, Internet Sales of Invasive Species, a Partner Spotlight on the NY Invasive Species Research Institute, Regional and Statewide Updates, and list some upcoming events. Our Species Profile is on Mile-a-Minute Vine (Persicaria perfoliata), which one of WNY’s Early Detection priorities. We are encouraging citizen scientists to learn how to identify this species and be on the lookout for new infestations. Observations can be reported to iMapInvasives.
