Join WNY PRISM and Tifft Nature Preserve for a practical workshop on invasive species management, designed for private landowners and managers alike. The Workshop will take you through the Best Management Practices necessary to successfully address some of the most common and problematic invasive species including, Japanese knotweed, Phragmites and common buckthorn.

The Workshop will take place completely in the field, where participants will have the opportunity to see first-hand the different stages of invasive species management and see the tools invasive species managers use. This will involve considerable walking, along well-maintained trails, as we move between target species.
