WNY PRISM is currently seeking a new Aquatic Invasive Species Program Manager to join our team!

The Aquatic Invasive Species Program Manager (Program Manager) will work to engage the public and partners in aquatic invasive species spread prevention and management. The primary role for the Program Manager is to coordinate WNY PRISM’s Watercraft Inspection Stewardship Program which includes up to 18 public boat launches staffed from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The Program Manager will be responsible for all aspects of WISP including partner communications, permissions, hiring, training and supervising Boat Stewards, data management, reporting, and maintaining program equipment and outreach materials. Additional program responsibilities will include facilitation of the WNY Water Chestnut Working Group, AIS survey and removal efforts, coordination of an annual AIS workshop, and collaboration with partners on regional Hydrilla and additional early detection efforts.
