SUMMARY:Managing Spotted Lanternfly in New Jersey: Experiences from the field
DESCRIPTION:The first spotted lanternfly (Lycorma delicatula) detection in the U.S. was in Berks County\, Pennsylvania in 2014. Since 2014\, spotted lanternfly has spread to 17 states\, including New York. Dr. Tony Cullen will share his four years of experience working on the spotted lanternfly program in New Jersey for the U.S. Department of Agriculture\, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service. He will discuss spotted lanternfly’s biology\, natural history\, and current distribution\, share his insights and experiences for best management practices to combat this invasive species\, and ways in which you can get involved. \nThis seminar is free and open to the public.
