WNY PRISM is excited to announce the release of our Spring 2022 Newsletter! In this edition, learn about WNY PRISM’s community science effort for mapping hemlock woolly adelgid, and further ways you can get involved with mapping other data gap species this upcoming field season. Discover what invasive plants you should avoid when planning your water garden and meet our new DEC Region 9 Aquatic Invasive Species Program Coordinator, Lindsay Yoder. Three of our four program managers have joined WNY PRISM since the pandemic began, so we introduce them to the region. Our profiled species is lesser celandine.
