WNY PRISM is holding our first Invasive Species Symposium  on October 18 at the Jaqueline Vito LoRusso Alumni & Visitor Center on  SUNY Buffalo State’s Campus.

The symposium will focus on lessons learned and adaptive management, and is geared towards practitioners and planners working to develop or implement invasive species management projects.

Participants will have the opportunity to seek advice from those with expert knowledge while learning about amazing management and restoration work taking place in the region. The program will also serve as WNY PRISM’s Fall Partner Meeting allowing for participants to provide their own program updates and learn about opportunities for collaboration.

There is no cost for this event, but pre-registration is required and space is limited.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Parking is available in the SUNY Buffalo State G-20 Lot. An area with free parking will be marked off for “Event Parking” near the intersection of Grant and Letchworth, adjacent to the Alumni Center.
