Join the PRISM network and DEC for a virtual viewing of “Uninvited: The Spread of Invasive Species,” a new hour-long documentary from DEC and West Field Production Co.! Uninvited introduces the concept of invasive species and focuses on some that are threatening New York’s environment and economy. The film will also explain ways that you, too, can stop the spread of these harmful species.

Register to view the film with PRISM on Tuesday, November 2 at 7 PM or Friday November 5, at 12 PM. PRISM staff and representatives with the NYSDEC will be answering questions and engaging in the comments during the viewings, followed by a live post-movie Q&A and special guests.

The film features the collaborative work of DEC and partners, including the State Department of Agriculture and Markets, New York Natural Heritage Program, Partnerships for Regional Invasive Species Management (PRISMs), and New York State Invasive Species Research Institute (NYISRI). The film’s production was provided by the State’s Environmental Protection Fund. Check out the trailer here!
