DESCRIPTION:The Great Lakes Panel on Aquatic Nuisance Species identifies ANS priorities for the Great Lakes region\, assists and makes recommendations to the federal Aquatic Nuisance Species Task Force\, coordinates ANS program activities in the region and advises public and private interests on prevention and control efforts. The panel meets twice a year in locations around the Great Lakes basin.
