WNY PRISM is Accepting 2026 Boot Brush Station Applications!
Boot brush stations are simple, cost-effective tools that help prevent the spread of invasive species along trails and in natural areas. They also serve as an educational tool, showing hikers and outdoor enthusiasts how small actions can make a big impact on the environment.
What the Program Offers
Through the program, WNY PRISM provides all the supplies needed to install a boot brush station at your trailhead, park or natural area. Partners then install the station and maintain it for community use.
Whether you’re a new partner or have participated in the program before, we encourage you to apply!
How Applications Are Prioritized
If the number of applications exceeds our supply of boot brush stations, priority will be given based on:
– Areas with gaps in current coverage
– Proximity to early detection invasive species
Deadlines and Next Steps
Applications are due by February 23, 2026.
Don’t miss your chance to be part of this exciting conservation effort. Learn more about the program and submit your application here:
