WNY PRISM is working with Buffalo Audubon Society to manage invasive species at the North Tonawanda Audubon Nature Preserve. This preserve is home to hundreds of native species and is an important area for migratory birds.
When it comes to managing invasive species, there are several points to check off before you can even begin to actually manage them. You need to know what species you are looking for, what it looks like, and most important of all, location.
WNY PRISM once again is working alongside Tifft Nature Preserve, this time on an ambitious vernal pool habitat restoration project involving invasive species removal.
WNY PRISM is very excited to welcome our 2017 Summer Crew. Joining us this year are Nick Ransbury as our Education and Outreach Assistant, and Heather Zimba and Kevin Sanders as our Invasive Species Management Assistants.
