Erie County Water Quality Committee Meeting & Scajaquada Creek Trip

The Erie County Water Quality Committee meeting is on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 1:30 -3:30 pm at the Anna Reinstein Memorial Library (2580 Harlem Road, Cheektowaga, NY 14225). The initial meeting will be in the library meeting room and will be followed by a walk of nearby Scajaquada Creek (approximately 0.3 mile walk to the Creek through the park or short drive through the park). Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper will discuss the work they are involved with on Scajaquada Creek, as well as introduce their WNY Environmental Justice Grant Program. This is a great excuse to get outside, see the Watershed, and learn about what is happening! Please dress for the weather. If there is a major storm, folks will remain in the Library for a presentation and discussion.
