MAP Annual Seedling Sale
May 2 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
For over a decade, Massachusetts Avenue Project (MAP) has opened its farm doors for this spring celebration and community-building event in support of Buffalo’s local food system. More than a Seedling Sale, MAP’s intention is to empower community members with the resources they need to connect with the land and grow their own food in an urban setting.
- Shop a diverse selection of vegetable, flower and herb seedlings including culturally significant crops and heirloom varieties, many of which are grown from saved seeds regionally adapted to grow in our Zone 6A climate.
- Free lead testing will be available in an effort to empower gardeners to grow safely.
- Free growing resources, hands-on activities, and more from local environmental groups & organizations.
- Shop selection of seasonal and locally grown produce, pantry staples and specialty goods, including free range organic eggs, herbs, mushrooms, honey, flowers, preserved goods, beauty products, and much more!
