National Invasive Species Awareness Week (NISAW) returns February 23–27, 2026 and this year’s theme is:

Defending Our Health by Stopping the Spread

Invasive species don’t just harm ecosystems, they impact our water, our food systems, our communities, and our well-being. This year, NISAW will shine a national spotlight on how protecting our environment is directly connected to protecting public health.
