WNY PRISM HWA Hunters Training
January 17 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
The eastern hemlock is a foundation species in our forests, but it’s threatened by the invasive hemlock woolly adelgid (HWA), a tiny insect with a big impact. Early detection is a great way to help slow the spread of HWA and you can help.
Become an HWA Hunter with WNY PRISM!
Join this training to learn how to identify, survey for and report HWA, and adopt a location to survey this winter. No experience needed!
Register at https://bit.ly/2026HWATraining.
Deadline: Thursday, January 15, 2026.
