Save the date for The Invasive Species Centre’s 2026 Invasive Species Forum!

Progress Through Partnerships – the theme for this year’s virtual event – captures the necessity of collaboration and integration of diverse perspectives and knowledge systems to address the challenges of invasive species management.  

This free, fully virtual event brings attention to invasive species issues, research, and advances in prevention and management occurring across Canada and in neighboring U.S. states. Over three days, participants will engage with keynote speakers, learn about innovative projects, and connect with experts and community members dedicated to protecting natural spaces in Canada, the U.S., and beyond. By embracing multiple perspectives such as scientific, cultural, policy-driven, and community-based—the Forum fosters richer understanding and stronger, more resilient solutions. 

A formal call for presentations will be released soon, along with details on registration to attend. Whether you are a researcher, land manager, policy-maker, community member, or simply passionate about the environment, this is your opportunity to learn, share, and be part of meaningful solutions.
