Spring Partner Meeting – April 28th
Please join WNY PRISM and our Partners as we kick off our 2016 Field Season with our Spring Partnership Meeting! Partner Meetings offer a great opportunity to learn about new invasive species efforts and to meet with Partners implementing projects across our region.

2015 Summer Education and Outreach
– It has been a rewarding and busy summer for our education and outreach efforts at WNY PRISM. We launched our new website, attended regional events, and our first newsletter was created this spring with a second edition coming!
Purple Loosestrife Beetle (Galerucella spp.) Collection
– WNY PRISM Crew visited Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) to help with the collection of a biocontrol (Galerucella calmariensis and G. pusilla) for purple loosestrife (Lythrum salicaria).
Chautauqua Lake Outlet Survey
The PRISM Crew traveled to Chautauqua County to aid the Chautauqua Lake Association with searching for (and destroying!) water chestnut (Trapa natans) and hydrilla (Hydrilla verticillata) in the Chautauqua Lake Outlet
