Join WNY PRISM and our Partners for our Fall Partnership Meeting, being held on Thursday, November 19th from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at Fredonia. We will welcome guest speakers Ken Parker, Project Manager with Seneca Nation of Indians Planning & Development and Karry A. Kazial, Ph.D, Associate Professor of Biology at Fredonia. Ken will present on SNI’s New Native Plant Policy, the first of it’s kind in the U.S. This policy ensures that new landscape planting in public spaces on Seneca lands will be exclusively local indigenous species. Karry will present on bat species of western New York, current research and the impacts of white nose syndrome.
In addition to guest speakers, attendees will have the opportunity to discuss their own projects, progress, offer ideas for future work, and network with our many Partners. WNY PRISM Coordinator, Andrea Locke, will provide a summary of regional efforts and PRISM projects from 2015 and discuss our work plan for 2016.
Don’t miss this opportunity to become involved in your PRISM!
