Chautauqua Lake – Spring Lake Rally

WNY PRISM Display at the 2015 Spring Lake Rally

WNY PRISM joined the Chautauqua Lake Spring Lake Rally in Mayville on Saturday, May 9th, 2015. The Spring Lake Rally was hosted by the Chautauqua Lake and Watershed Management Alliance. Numerous lake-based organizations were on hand to display exhibits, including WNY PRISM, Chautauqua County Soil and Water Conservation District, and the Chautauqua Institute. Presentations included project updates from the Lake and Watershed Management Alliance, the Chautauqua Lake macrophyte management strategy, grant funded projects, and Jamestown Audubon Society discussed water chestnut management.

Patricia Shulenburg (WNY PRISM Education and Outreach Assistant) was excited to meet and talk with attendees (~85), while learning about all of the great projects being implemented in and around Chautauqua Lake!
