Join WNY PRISM for our Fall Partner Meeting, being held at Tifft Nature Preserve on Thursday, October 21 from 1:00 – 3:30 pm. This will be our first in-person partner meeting since November 2019!
As part of the program we will hear from guest speakers on volunteer coordination and restoration, and updates from WNY PRISM and partners. We encourage partners to bring information and outreach materials they would like to share. WNY PRISM will also have replacement brushes for those with Boot Brush Stations (limited supply – first come, first served).
Guest Speaker: Zach Goodrich, Preserve Steward of Tifft Nature Preserve, will provide a tour of the Mosquito Junction Swamp Restoration Project, a multi-year effort to remove invasive species and restore native plant communities to Tifft Nature Preserve.
Guest Speaker: Nate Drag, Great Lakes Literacy Specialist with New York Sea Grant, will present “No Such Thing as a Free Lunch – Challenges and Tips on Volunteer Recruitment, Retention, and Management”
