WNY PRISM is currently accepting project proposals for consideration under our 2018 WNY PRISM Crew Assistance Program.

WNY PRISM is an organization focused on invasive species management; addressing invasive species priorities using a coordinated partnership network, for which we provide leadership, information management, and collaboration opportunities. Our mission is to improve, restore, and protect local aquatic and terrestrial resources by improving the effectiveness of invasive species management efforts and increasing awareness of invasive species issues throughout our 8 county region.

These activities fall into three primary work areas:  Invasive Species Removal and Habitat Restoration, Invasive Species Surveys and Mapping, and Outreach. The WNY PRISM  Crew consists of 2 Invasive Species Management Assistants (hired seasonally, approximately June – August), and the WNY PRISM Project Manager, Lucy Nuessle (Crew Leader).
