WNY PRISM would like to welcome the Chautauqua Watershed Conservancy as a new member of our Steering Committee!
The Chautauqua Watershed Conservancy has been a leader in increasing the awareness of invasive species in Chautauqua County and actively seeks to manage such issues within their system of nature preserves, which includes 25 nature preserves totaling more than 1000 acres. Over the past 26 years, the Chautauqua Watershed Conservancy has worked to preserve and enhance the water quality, scenic beauty and ecological health of lakes, streams and watersheds of the Chautauqua region. They bring considerable knowledge and experience to WNY PRISM and we’re excited to have them join us!
The WNY PRISM Steering Committee consists of agencies, non-profit organization, business and other stakeholder groups that are dedicated to raising awareness and improving the effectiveness and scope of invasive species management in WNY. They assist WNY PRISM with setting goals and priorities, they provide and disseminate information, help develop our annual work plans and assist with implementing strategic priorities. For the current list of Steering Committee Members, visit: https://www.wnyprism.org/about/steering-committee/
WNY PRISM is looking forward to working with the Chautauqua Watershed Conservancy and we would like to thank all of our Steering Committee Members for their time and effort helping to make WNY PRISM a success!
